The project: A stopover between East and West
Croquis d'Orient is a poetic journey through the perspectives of 19th and early 20th-century European composers (Bizet, Hüe, Fourdrain, Salvador Daniel, etc.) on the Orient. It's a unique program, blending sensuality with treasures from the oral traditions of the Maghreb. At a time when we often talk about what divides us, this album tells the story of everything that connects us.
